Thurrock Community Fund - Resilience Fund Application Form

The Resilience fund is open to Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise sector organisations.

About this funding:

The Resilience Fund aims to support and strengthen the Voluntary, Community, *Faith and Social Enterprise sector who are key to a strong, healthy and well connected community.

The fund will support five organisations who will each receive £4,500 of resilience funding, paid in one instalment.

The fund will provide core funding for all five organisations and can be used to enable engagement in the peer support programme as a group.

The peer support programme will be facilitated by Thurrock CVS and cover topics dependent on the organisations needs and priorities but could include: business planning, managing change, organisational resilience, and succession planning.

To qualify for this funding, organisations must be members of Thurrock CVS, deliver their services in Thurrock and meet the funding criteria.

*The fund will be open to faith-based organisations who deliver projects which provide community wide services open to all the local population. The funded organisations will aim to have a positive impact in fostering good relations between people of faith and those of other faiths or none within local communities.

Closing date for applications is 9th February 2026.

To be eligible for funding you need to meet the following criteria:

✓Member of Thurrock CVS
✓The organisation must have been operating in Thurrock for at least 12 months
✓Current service delivery in Thurrock
✓Formal governance structure (hold formal governing documents and annual report)
✓Independent bank account
✓Signed up to Thurrock Frontline if applicable
✓Identified business need
✓Committed to peer support working
✓Committed to co-produce a 12-month peer support programme
✓Committed to publicising the impact of the programme
✓Focus on impact on people you serve, particularly those poorly served communities
