To apply you must be a registered Health and Social Care Professional. If you are still training, e.g. an apprentice social worker you can still apply, but you will need to submit a letter of support from a registered Professional alongside your application.

The panel members consider applications once a month, usually towards the end of the month and we will ensure all applications are assessed in a timely manner. However sometimes due to panel members’ availability or other situations outside of our control there may be a slight delay. If you haven’t heard from us within 6 weeks of submitting your application please get in touch.

After the panel members have made their decisions we will contact you via email to let you know their decision. If successful you will need to log onto the application portal, using the email address that you used to register when submitting your application. You will then be asked to sign a grant agreement to accept the grant and any supplementary conditions. You will also be sent a follow up email called monitoring. This is the link to upload your invoice. If you have any issues uploading the invoice please email it to grants@suffolkcf.org.uk using your application number as the subject.

We require the majority of applications to include 2 comparative quotes. In certain circumstances e.g. when purchasing buggies from Orchard Farm, where there is only one supplier or you are buying directly from the manufacturer we can process your application with only one quote. However please ensure you have contacted the supplier to get a bespoke quote and to check that they will be able to invoice Suffolk Community Foundation for the amount awarded, as we cannot pay individuals directly and have to pay the supplier on receipt of an invoice. Once funding has been confirmed it is the responsibility of the Health Professional to place the order for the item. We will provide the grant reference number when we confirm your award.
