Discretionary Business Rates - Application Form

Please use this form to apply for discretionary rate relief. Please refer to the Council's policy before completing this application. You can find the policy here: https://www.camden.gov.uk/voluntary-and-community-sector-in-camden#ekrf 

To be eligible for discretionary rate relief you will need to be an eligible not-for-profit organisation and support people with barriers to, or in most need of, support to enter into the workplace, or access work and training. Childcare related to this is also eligible. In addition, people who benefit must be from the Borough of Camden and services need to be accessible. 

Should you be successful, the support is limited to a maximum of £2,000. 

To assess your application we will use the information you provide in this application, and other information in the public realm, such as your website, returns to the FCA or Charity Commission, social media etc. We may also use relevant information from Camden Council. 

Please continue to pay any bills for business rates - if you are successful the discount will be added to your account and you will be reimbursed. If you are concerned you are paying too much, please go to the Valuation Office Agency at https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/valuation-office-agency to check if your building valuation.
