Ilford Community Fund - Application Form

London Community Foundation is delivering the Ilford Community Fund with Community Action Redbridge and Redbridge Giving to support organisations working in Ilford to apply for and deliver grant-funded work.

Organisations applying to this fund should be undertaking activity in Ilford that addresses one of these four priorities:

1. Cost of living

2. Mental health and stress

3. Crime and community safety

4. Loneliness

Organisations registered and based in Ilford and delivering activity in Ilford can apply for core organisation costs (these are the essential, behind the scenes expenses required to keep your organisation running and delivering services but are not directly tied to a specific project or service). Please note, your organisation’s main office/delivery venue and registered address must be an IG1 postcode to qualify for a core costs grant.

Organisations delivering activity in Ilford but based outside the area, within the wider borough of Redbridge, can apply for costs to deliver a project or activity in Ilford. This applies to any organisation that’s main office/delivery venue and registered address is outside of the IG1 postcode area.

Please ensure you read London Community Foundation's core eligibility criteria, found in the programme guidance and on our website. If your organisation does not meet any one of the core eligibility criteria your application will not be considered.

Ineligibility

Before making your application, please read through the below criteria to ensure that you are eligible to make an application. If you think that you might be ineligible due to any of the reasons listed below, please give us a call to discuss these further:

Organisations with overdue or incomplete monitoring on a previous grant from The London Community Foundation from any of its programmes.
Organisations who have had two consecutive years of net current liabilities within the two most recent financial years.
Organisations who have had two consecutive years of late submissions to the Charity Commission or Companies House within the two most recent financial years.
Statutory organisations, such as Local Authorities (e.g. school curriculum)
Any party-political activity.
Purely commercial ventures (for profit).
Spending that has already taken place (i.e. retrospective funding).
Individuals or projects run by individuals as opposed to an organisation.
Activities where people are excluded on religious grounds, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, faith etc.
CICs Limited by Shares or Companies Limited by Shares.
Organisations where trustees are paid, unless evidence of approval is provided from the Charity Commission and this arrangement is referenced in the governing document.
