Welcome to the UK Youth Fund

The UK Youth Fund provides meaningful financial support and organisational development opportunities to help small youth organisations remain stable and deliver the consistent, inclusive youth work that young people depend on.

At a time when safe, dependable spaces for young people are needed more than ever, our goal is to expand the reach and quality of youth work across the UK.

Through multi-year unrestricted grants and a complementary capacity-building programme, we help youth organisations strengthen their financial position, stabilise provision, and plan confidently for the future building resilience that extends beyond finances and deepens long-term impact.

Our two key outcomes are:

• Improved Financial Sustainability – supporting you to invest time and resources in strategic organisational development through multi-year unrestricted funding

• Increased Capability and Organisational Resilience – strengthening your organisation through our capacity-building programme

This Fund models a high-trust, effective approach to grant-making, ensuring more young people have access to the consistent, high-quality support they need to belong, connect, and thrive.

Two-Stage Application Process:

• Expression of Interest (EOI) – 14th April to 6th May

• Full Application – 12th May to 3rd June (by invitation only)

Before you begin: You can find more information by reviewing our grant application guidance and FAQs.

Thank you for your interest in the UK Youth Fund. This is the first stage of a two-stage application process.

• Your organisation's turnover from the last financial year

• Information about the young people you support (age ranges and numbers)

• Details of your primary service delivery location

What we're asking for at this stage:

Section 1: Applicant Details – Contact details for communication and data storage

Section 2: Organisational Details – Organisational information for verification and eligibility checking

Section 3: Eligibility Checklist – Confirmation of meeting eligibility criteria

Section 4: Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (Optional) – Optional data to provide that won't influence funding decisions

Section 5: Declaration – Confirmation of accuracy of information provided

• What happens next?

All EOI submissions will be reviewed, and successful applicants will be invited to submit a Full Application between 12th May and 3rd June.

We aim to notify all applicants of the outcome of their EOI by 2pm, Tuesday 12th May
